Whenever I fry chicken the outside just turns soggy as fuck, what breading did you use?

I tried doing it in my airfryer just with flour and a little oil, but as expected it didnt turn out too good. Will use either Panko or Cornflakes breading next time if i use airfryer again. I did Panko breading a few times in the oven and it was pretty good
