You should start finasteride, and preferably dutasteride, the moment you notice thinning. You can start finasteride already just to be safe.
Also don't forget:
1)minoxidil, preferably mixed with some isotretinoin for better absorption.
2)ketoconazole 2% shampoo rubbed very well and left for 10 minutes on hair before washed
3)microneedling
