I'm not interested in collecting masks of movie monsters, except for this Frankenstein one, but that's because frankenstein is in the public domain.

Getting masks of ghostface, frwssy kruger, Michael myers and Jason voorhoes comes off as brand worship to me.
Same with buying their merch or wearing a shirt of your favourite band.

That and I just dint gu e a shit for those characters tbh.

I used to be guilty of wearing band shirt.
Back when I was 20, I used to wear shirts of bullet for my valentine, black veil brides and joy division.
I don't wear that shit anymore and I don't even listen to those bands anymore.

But yeah, I also internally cringe whenever I see people IRL wear shirts of characters and logos on them.
It comes off as consooomer, walking billboard, brand worshipper to me.
Kinda similar to alt clothing brands like spiral direct or killstar, but with those two, their products are cheaply made, overpriced and are meant to commercialise on goth and alt fashion for profit.
