What a joke.

Imagne I left a pile of cash in my front window, left the door wide open and leave the house. I return to see my house has been burgled. You tell me I was asking for it because I left my door wide open with a pile of cash in the window. I don't think that would be a controversial statement.

Imagine a foid goes out partying, wears a slutty outfit, gets drunk and leaves in a strangers car. She gets raped. If I tell her she was asking for it by dressing like a slut, getting drunk and leaving with a stranger, THIS SHOULD NOT BE A CONTROVERSIAL STATEMENT. But for some reason because it's a foid being raped, it's 'victim blaming' , 'misogyny', 'toxic masculinity'. How are foids supposed to learn self-accountability in this climate?

I agree.
The only time when I believe it's uncalled for is when they cannot control it (having naturally big features) and that's it
if it dresses like a slut talks like a slut and moves like a slut she was asking 4 it

Rape is not a big deal at all tbh. Its just a way for cunts to claim "oppression victim points". Yeah, I said it. You mad, cucktears & brazilian sigma reading this?

Teach men not to rape?

I didn’t know rapists are swiper the fox

Free-thinkers are hated in this world. How dare someone question the moral panic over rape!

That's because women want to do shit without consequences

Shw was asking for it

I would still disagree with the statement. Leaving your valuables vulnerable and offering trust to society is not the same as actually asking to be robbed.

To use a personal comparison: I always left my bedroom door open and as a result someone in my home stole my PSP.

That doesn't mean I was 'asking for' my PSP to be stolen. It means I was betrayed by someone I made a gesture of trust towards.

As a result, I bought a lock for my door. I've adapted, as a victim, to protect myself. But that doesn't mean you should blame me for having left my door open.

REVEALING outfit. Sluts can dress revealing or cover themselves up, so sluttiness is an attribute of people, not clothing.

It's reckless behavior, but reckless behavior is not literally asking for exploitation.

It's not a metaphor I agree with encouraging.

If you are falsely stating that someone asked for it, then yes, you are blaming them, because you are putting the onus on them when they literally did not request something.

I don't agree that it is misogyny, however, so I agree with you that it is wrong to call victim-blaming a form of misogyny. It's INCORRECT, but saying incorrect things or lying about women does not necessarily mean you HATE women.

I wouldn't call it toxic masculinity either, because women engage in victim-blaming too. Both toward other women, and towards men.

If a Chad boyfriend beat up a guy for daring to ogle Chad's girlfriend for example, many women would say the ogler was "asking for it" and deserved to be beaten up by Chad.

That too is bullshit, because no, simply admiring an attractive person is not literally asking to be beaten up. It's understandable dangerous because society DGAF about you and will take Chad and Stacy's side and think it is justified for them to assault you for looking in their direction, but this doesn't mean you actually were asking to be assaulted.

This is a misleading metaphor and victim blaming is used against us EVEN MORE THAN it is used against women. When people bring it up, we should be raising awareness of how much better it applies to the difficulties WE face, rather than deny how it applies to them.

do you know english? 'asking for it' is a figure of speech. obviously nobody wants to get their shit stolen on get raped (other than the large proportion of women that want to be raped by chad) It means they were being retarded and it's obvious that would happen if they acted in such a way. also leaving your bedroom door open when someone you trust is in the house is not the same as leaving your front door open for the world.

There are many figures of speech I don't like, don't embrace, and condemn.

Women WANTING to get raped and ASKING to get raped are different things.

We can definitely have a separate conversation on whether or not women who choose to be vulnerable are actually oblivious, or either consciously / subconsciously desiring to be raped. I think any intelligent person would realize that's a possibility in SOME cases. "No cases" or "all cases" would be absurd, the argument is to have on rough amounts, and whether terms like "most" would be at all close to realistic.

People can be trusting / naive but still be somewhat intelligent in other regards so I wouldn't call them retarded. I used to be like that too. Women are just so much sheltered than guys that they usually take longer to be pilled about the world's dangers enough to put on some armor.

Whether it's the door to your room open to a family or the door to your house open to neighbors, those are just the same thing but to different degrees of trust to wider groups of people.

It's never rape if it's Chad. :feelsthink:

that's like me walking through a black ghetto neighborhood at night alone in a kkk robe. You're just asking for trouble

Same concept don't get fucked up and leave with some stranger ITS YOUR FAULT dumb bitch

this is why they need to be held accountable for their own actions or they will never learn.

An ugly horny man trying to have a one night stand == rape
A chad trying to have a one night stand (and gets one) == fling
