At the outset, I will say rape is BAD. NEVER rape.
Perhaps rape is bad, but that doesn't mean rapists should be thrown in prison. Most rapists are good people regardless. They pay taxes to support the poor and disabled, they volunteer, they donate to charities like Black Lives Matter that are doing God's work, and their job might even be doctor or veterinarian. Most of what they do is good, and if you throw them in prison it changes things. They might still be able to contribute to society by working, but they are made into burdens who are given free housing, health care, and food. Prisons are socialism that is funded by taxation which is theft(socialism is whenever the government does something). Socialism is bad.
They will also be missed by their family. This is why prisons are incompatible with conservatism. Arrests of fathers cause fatherlessness because the father will then be absent from his children's life and therefore increase, not reduce crime.
Prisons are incompatible with Christianity. I made a thread saying suicide is something disproportionately committed by homosexuals who are condemned by The Bible and therefore suicide is also terrible. The same logic can be used to say prison is bad because gay rape occurs in prison. Prison is an abomination(Leviticus 18:22). Cops and jail guards won't enter the kingdom of God(1 Corinthians 6:9). The same logic can be used to condemn the (voluntary) childless because gays don't reproduce. Childlessness is an abomination. The childless won't go to Heaven. And both deserve the death penalty (Leviticus 20:13).
Lastly, many of those who criticize rape don't have a right to do that. Matthew 7:3 says, "Why do you see the speck in your neighbor's eye, but do not notice the log in your own eye." Those who criticize rape may have had abortions, which is murder and a worse evil. They also eat meat, which is murder. Meat is worse than rape.
These people have no excuse. They could've put it up for adoption. They could've drank soy milk and eaten tofu. Meanwhile, rapists had good excuses. They didn't have any legal means to meet their sexual needs.
