There would be no racism if every race looked the same. If blacks looked the same as white people and Europeans found them in the jungle, they wouldn’t see them as savage animals who should be enslaved, but rather they would see themselves in them and see that this is how their own ancestors lived. They might also be seen as inferior, but it would just be seen as white on white hatred by everyone else.
To this day the Normans who conquered England are still richer and have a higher IQ than the anglo-saxon and celtic people of the britain islands, but does anyone ask for them to get reparations? Does anyone give a shit about their suffering? No, because they look similar enough that nobody sees it as systemic racism.
In India, now that the low caste dalits and chandalas look the same as the Brahmins, nobody calls the caste discrimination as racism. But if the Brahmins were still white skinned aryans while the low caste were black skinned looking abos, would anyone seriously look at that and not call it racism?

The Uyghars in China, it’s considered a form of racism when people see the Chinese as being somewhat central asian or white looking rather than looking asian. The Chinese government uses Uyghars who look more like Chinese to dodge accusations of racism because they know nobody sees it as racism if they can make the world think the population is not physically distinguishable to other groups in China.
In Burma (formerly Myanmar), there was a 969 movement there to stop Islamic propagation into the country. Islam wiped out Buddhism in Ancient India, and they didn’t want the same to happen to them. But because the Muslims in Burma are Rohingya and look like curries, the rest of the world doesn’t give a shit about their motive and just see it as a racial genocide.
When Russia went to war with Ukraine, both of these nations are non-western culturally, but famously a white leftist reporter from the EU was shocked and said “This is Europe”, as she was shocked whites (no matter what their culture) could be capable of being different to her in behaviours. Them being white is enough for her to identify with them as being the same as her.
