Whites and Asians are genetically distant (the correct way to put it anthropologically is that they split from their most recent common ancestor a long time ago, I read around 47,000 years ago if I recall).
For example, Eastern Europeans and Western Europeans split off from a common ancestor not too long ago somewhere in central Asia (the Caucasus or Iran i forgot...), therefore are closely related.
As for intelligence. Both Whites and East Asians have average IQs of 100 or higher (more like 100 for Whites and like 105 - 110 for East Asians). Point is both races are on average the smartest although they developed in different continents far away from each other. Most likely having to do with similar evolutions. Both in ancient pre-recorded times and in recent times since the beginning of agriculture. The higher the selective pressure (the strongest survive and have the most offspring). the smarter and stronger the race becomes over time. The reason why East Asians have very high non verbal IQs relative to their verbal IQ must have something to do with ancient evolution. I read somewhere that the ancestors of East Asians today got stuck in the vast region between Tibet and Siberia during the last ice age. Only the strongest would have survived, and those with the genetics and phenotype to survive extreme cold (that is why the Mongoloid race today is highly cold adapted with high amounts of body fat, stocky bodies, long torsos, relatively short limbs, and have high weight relative to body surface area).
That said, you would think White foids would date us Asian men more given our average IQs are relatively similar with Whites as say opposed to sub-Saharan Africans. But nope. White foids only know that we are ugly to them and date Black American men noticeably more than Asian men. My educated guess is that our distinctive Asian looks come from the ancient hominid Denisovans. There was some interbreeding going on. They were found in various sites from Siberia to the Malaysian Islands. On a side note, I think some Malayo-Polynesians flat out have some homo-erectus DNA.

For example one of the earliest Pre Mongoloid homonids that migrated to Asia basically looked like Africans, then over time as Denisovans came in and lots of mixing occurred these Dark Skinned Asians got isolated on islands, now one interesting part in this is that not all people remained dark skinned those who migrated to norther colder regions became much lighter, one of these people were the Jomon people who lived on what is now Japan.
The closest descendants of the Jomon. the Ainu people share close paternal genetic proximity with Andamanese.
