So I just came across this very interesting video backed by studies about burning off visceral fat. This seems to be the harmful type of fat that diminishes our health.

Key take away notes:
  • Eat carotenoids (Carrots, Tomatoes, Bell peppers, Spinach... etc).
  • Drink catechins (Green tea, specifically Matcha or Sencha tea).
  • Do a few moderate exercises a week. 2~3 times a week, each ~45 minutes long. This can be for example cycling or jogging. Anything cardio.
  • Combine with resistance training for more effect.
I am actually keen on trying this out. I'm not fat, but I'm a bit chubby for sure. Doesn't seem like it requires that much effort, and is likely to improve health and maybe just overall well being for not much cost. The hardest part is to keep it consistent, but that's the key. Anyone else interested in trying this out?

That's not enough to be truly lean.

I train martial arts and calisthenics at least four times a week, and the only way to lose weight until your abs are visible is to eat a maximum of once a day, even with all the training. Otherwise, you'll plateau and never lose weight.

On the other hand, if you're as fat as a landwhale, then any kind of exercise will help.

All you need to do is:

Start running daily.
Stop eating goyslop daily.

And you will lose weight, everywhere.

You are right about that. That is suitable if you already are normal fit, and are looking to get abs. But that's not the goal here. The goal here is to get to normal fit.

If I ever noticeably gain any weight beyond my current weight I will just not eat for days.

already do this but it seems i have a lot more water retention than fat in me, oh well, exercise still helps with that anyway

you guys are all talking about subq fat not visceral, visceral fat is what causes that distended lean/beer gut or in bodybuilders that abs but pushed out look. fasting is the best way to remove it along with reducing oxidative stress, staying healthy, keeping your liver healthy, reducing your insulin resistance, etc. if you want drugs that help look into the glps as they are proven to reduce visceral fat around ur organs.

stop treating your body like shit TLDR
