Is is true that people are less forgiving with you once you hit your 30s ? How bad do you get treated compared to when you were younger ?

@Emba @Todd Thundercock

My parents treat me like trash

They were chill when I was 20 and each year they got more and more angry till I was forced to leave at 27.

Most of my extended family members have cut off contact with me. I only see them on special occasions like funerals and weddings. And when I do see them, they don't really ask about how things are going. They know I'm a turbo-autist, so nothing ever changes between our encounters. They might have had some respect for me in the past, but that is long gone.

My parents keep me around. I think they genuinely sympathise with me and know things are rough for me. They're not going to kick me out, but I think they have lost hope that I'll ever have a partner.

I'm not that age yet, but I'm approaching it. My parents seem to have made peace with my trucel existence and avoid topics of friends and girlfriends which they know will set me off. I still live with them, because like this I get food, socialization, a room and a backyard and in return I contribute with money. Much better than living in some single bedroom apartment that's falling apart that I have to pay 60% of my salary for.

I look like the guys I used to legit pity when I was young, I suppose others pity me in the same way.

Can't say. I haven't spoken to them in over a decade

I am treated the same as always; mostly just ignored.

I don't know about less forgiving. They've always been kind to my face.

Once I grew out of being a "cute" kid by like 12-13, I haven't seen most of my family. Family get togethers were always about seeing the kids, so whatever. Vapid waste of time. For reasons I'll never understand, my parents still hold family as super important despite barely talking to many of them for decades now.

The only exception is when I went on autismbux, a sect of the family disowned me. But, I never spoke to them even when I was a little kid, so why they bothered saying shit, I don't know.

It is true. People are overall definitely less forgiving, you get called a "man" instead of a "young man" (whatever it is on your language) and such by cashiers which still rubs me the wrong way and I can't get used to it.

It's simple, less neoteny - more hate. That's why kids, foids and cute animals are loved, and grown men are not. People are obviously way too lookistic in their nature and they love and care for neoteneous creatures, which we aren't.
