Did anyone know about or give a fuck about incels prior to Elliot Rodgers? This question applies online and in real life, because I'm entirely convinced that if it wasn't for Elliot or Alek Minassian incels wouldn't be considered a "problem" they'd just be fucking ignored.

No I don't think there was much for incel in the public eye before. About ten years ago incels still had an online presence as I remember, there was another incel forum but it was vastly different than this one and they tried to be inclusive of foids. The admins would ban males who would complain that women couldn't be incel so it was definitely more cuckish than you'd think.

Also if you were young they'd often tell you that you weren't actually incel, and that if you fixed yourself up in your twenties that you'd find a match. I'd say the blackpill definitely wasn't a thing back then.

Honestly it was LoveShy, PUAHate, then a few sites copying us tbh. The community was the very definition of fringe and a mix of guys who were against PUA (that was me but I had also been on incel sites) and those who believed it was their timidity that did them in but we agreed that it was involuntary and almost forced. Only disgraced bloggers like Futrelle and low-end feminist publications gave a passing glance towards us. It was after ER that people created a false narrative about “incel men” and ofc Minassian led every blue-haired feminist and Eric Butts-looking fool to look into how ugly WHITE guys are the worst thing since slavery. Apparently non-white males either aren’t incel or libs think they/we have no mind of their own and are pawns of whitecels .
