One of the most common criticisms I hear about incels is:

You'd have better chances with women if you were less toxic/misogynistic toward them

This quote obviously misses the point which is that negative sentiments towards women emerge after years of prolonged cruelty and rejection from them. Frustration with women didn't just come about in a vacuum without cause.

And it's not as if having these feelings towards women will go on to decrease one's odds of attaining a relationship since looks are the only thing that really matter.

If misogynistic beliefs of women were an actual cause for an inability to get pussy, chad jocks that frequently objectify women and brag about how many women they've slept with would be in the same position as the incel.

This critique gets the whole situation backwards in order to ignore the actual plight of incels and to place more blame on them.
