Naked man approaches several women in parks, police issue public safety alert
Police say three incidents have been reported so far in three different parks around Midtown on Monday and Tuesday.
According to a Thursday news release, three such incidents were reported between Monday and Tuesday afternoons, each in a different park.
According to the release, the first incident happened just after 12:30 p.m. on Monday in David A. Balfour Park, near the intersection of St Clair Ave. E. and Yonge St., when a man allegedly approached a woman and attempted to speak to her. He was reportedly wearing a blue backpack and black hat, sunglasses, socks and shoes, but nothing else.
Police described the man as white, speaking with an accent, between 45 and 55 years old, between 5’11” and 6’0”, of medium build and with chest hair.
The second incident reportedly happened on Tuesday around 11:30 a.m. in Alexander Muir Gardens Memorial Park on Yonge St. south of Lawrence Ave. E. A naked man wearing a blue backpack approached a woman and began a conversation with her.
Police described the man as white, in his 40s, between 5’7” and 5’8”, speaking with an accent, having dark chest hair, a round face, little to no hair on his head and being overweight.
The third incident happened two hours later, around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Sherwood Park, near the intersection of Mount Pleasant and Blythwood Rds. A naked man allegedly approached two women and began speaking to them. He was wearing just a baseball hat, blue backpack, ankle socks and shoes.
Police described the man as speaking with an accent, in his early 50s, about 6-foot tall, and of medium build, with short brown hair.
