I see no evidences for any of that. Putin rebuilt russian defense capabilities over the years and is taking action in Ukraine after russian legitimate security concerns were dismisssed by the west. Russian materiel production can't be matched by the western industrial base.
Russian nuclear triad is more advanced and robust than those from the west.
Nationalism have different meanings in the west-alligned and the global south. Orkranian "nationalist" are dying for for the benefit of US, while in Russia nationalists defend their country from ending up like soykraine.

Putin is intentionally losing the war by first pulling out from the left bank at Chernogov/Sumy in April 2022, then from the right bank at Kherson in November 2022, and has not destroyed a single Dnieper bridge yet - thus letting NATO supply the Ukraine without a hitch.
Even worse, Putin is trying to advance in the only fortified sector of the front - namely, in the Donbass. Which is pure sabotage and high treason. Imagine if Hitler had been having a go at the Maginot line for 2 years? Instead of going around it?
