those songs are fine but the prince iceberg is crazy and goes deep

I never saw Prince involved in a scandal. He was one of the few Hollywood artists who enjoyed the discreet lifestyle. His death was strange, too. God knows what happened in that airplane, on his way to Illinois. Another industry sacrifice? R.I.P.

Considering that this album was released in 1987, Prince was most likely referring to the Space Shuttle Challenger Disaster, which occurred in 1986.

Not my favorite genre, but the song is cool. Very experimental and crazy/disorienting like you said.

It was all just stock sound presets from some synth but still great, completely opposite from the music trends at the time.

Even though I don't get most of the references in his songs, he was undeniably one of the greatest lyricists to ever exist. The first song made me lie flat on my back to face the ceiling while I imagined going out on a date with the waitress he was describing. Music is an excellent cope for this reason; escapism.
