Overpopulation and cut throat competition. All the good colleges in India have an acceptance rate of less than 2%. India is also a third world country it's economy isn't robust, corruption rampant and QoL still low. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer so it only makes sense why the middle class would want to move to the west. India is catching up tho.
