On the subject of Linux... I agree that Mint is probably the best distro. Linux is great fun and I really like it but... the main problem is the lack of support from developers, so you end up with fewer games, applications, etc. It is a bit more buggy too but that probably mostly comes down to a lack of support too.
I used it for many years (Suse, Slackware, Ubuntu, Mint and probably more) but I use Windows 99% of the time now, due to the reason I said above.
As for a FRIENDS wallpaper... nah, haha. I don't like it THAT much, besides that would be way too normie for me
