Meh, women do this all the time too, if not more, but of course this particular Reddit is complaining about the men doing it being “common.” Instead of “why does this happen so commonly in marriages” even if it’s a 50/50 split, they’ll still blame men. Aside from that, I dislike the guy too. He married the woman at 22 (a very reasonable age for marriage by today’s feminist-pushed standard of basically 30+) and had a family, and is still greedy enough to ruin an 18 year old. Not that she’d be available to any of us, but he is still furthering and embodying female hypergamy by engaging with it.

Also, the fact that he was married and had a family makes me wonder if there’s any other part of the story. For example, the woman was a chronic cheater. Of course we’ll never hear about that though, or any other things the woman did to damage the relationship.
