In most languages, you have words like "my, you, his, our, etc."

In Finnish, there are words like that but those are unnecessary.
You can put a suffix to a word to indicate posession.

Koira = dog
Koirani = my dog
Koirasi = your dog
Koiransa = his/her dog

You can also attach other grammatical features to that word.

Koiralleni = to my dog
Koirastani = from my dog

English has seperate words for everything, Finnish has one word for that stuff

Same in my language tbh. Brutal. Our sheakspere IQ ancestors didn't even bothered:feelskek:

Köpek= dog
Köpeğim= my dog
Köpeğin = your dog
Köpeği= his/her dog

You can also attach other grammatical features to that word.

Köpeğime = to my dog
Köpeğimden = from my dog
