Poor social skills: autism or just a result of bullying due to ugliness?

While poor social development is a common symptom of autism, there are usually other symptoms like poor motor skills, fascination with patterns, sound/light sensitivity, etc I think many on this board incorrectly self-diagnose themselves with autism based solely on lack of social skills. If you don't have other symptoms of autism, it's very likely you failed to develop social skills due to bullying because you're ugly. No autism involved.

I think its both. We are not allowed to act outside what is tolerated. Also autism does not help this.

Remember that the autism rate is about 2%. There are a lot more incels than that. Autism is a diagnosis which often implicates extreme struggles with day-to-day life and a wide array of symptoms. You either have it or you don't, it's that simple. Poor social skills can be due to other factors than mental disorders.

Yeah, I also think it's something like that. It's pretty hard to develop social skills when all your efforts to socialize are shut down by normies (and in some cases, even by your family members).

yeah its quite possible many of us are misdiagnosed, whether its direct bullying or just being ugly and having no one to help you out of it, results are the same as being autistic

tbh we'd have turned out shit regardless, I doubt we'd have developed social skills later on. Bullies are just nature's way of getting rid of subhumans, ik the only reason I was bullied was cuz I had no friends, the bullies never changed any aspect of my social skills except for how much i hated life.

Yeah, because of my bullying when I was younger no one really wanted to be my friends and I became isolated so I never developed any social skills. It makes sense.
