I'm still a student (20yo), but I know I won't make much money my entire life.
I'll probably end up in a $2,000 job (which is absolutely little here in Germany due to inflation. Just the cheapest apartment in my area costs at least $900).
So I will probably work from 8 am to 5pm for 9 hours by myself in an office. Coming home tired in winter where everything is already dark. Then I'll come home with no wife, no friends.
All alone.
Ultimately, I will then be stressing about my money every month.
Then at night I lie in my bed, completely tired, exhausted from slave labor, with tears in my eyes absolutely lonely and watch TikTok videos of people traveling around the world and having lots of money, a beautiful girlfriend, etc.
Then you have to hear from the rich people that you shouldn't be lazy and work hard, even though you just worked a 9 hour shift.
