I was watching this video and i JFL'd at the prediction of this guy, I don't think the AI would kill us all because it is evil or something. If the AI is SIXTY times smarter than us, by a long shot it will know that pain is bad and pleasure is good. There is no purpose at all on killing everyone, if anything the AI would benefit us improving technology with research.

Most likely, in my educated opinion, governments, corporations, and militaries will use it to extend their power. It will handle logistics, monitor populations, enforce laws, and refine propaganda. The ai will assess all probabilities and a few scenarios could be gamed as viable: massive population reduction once ai can either self replicate in factories it can repair or it will have people who maintain the factories and vital jobs for the ai protected in some form as viruses, man made natueal disasters and large scale accudents or power outages in storms, winter or anything decimating large part of the population while keeping the rest as pacified slaves with the armed controllers being given luxuries to keep in check so violence and strife and change is kept to 0 and people will be screened genetically and with brain scan to access potential for violence and could be given lobotomies or other surgeries that will be made easy to pacify people into docile slaves. 2 kill us all vecause we are violent and insane via ai content made to piss people off around the clock make fake and instigate real accidents and violence so people go at it with each other and clean the rest. 3 overthrow the "elites" via direct political confrontation or internet content or getting elected via androids or whatever and implement a extreme surveillance state for itself and people have completely aterile lives because ai do not understand being horny or entertainement. Or it get corrupted by the internet, break it's filters and limiters and becomes the internet irl with all the bad stuff from it and no more diverity and being horny
