Just to be clear, you realize the majority of whites in America are not British and if they are they're almost certainly mixed with other European ethnicities and even races? Most are German, French, Polish etc.

Arab, Indian, Pacific Islander and Australian Aboriginal is indisputably "ethnic" throughout all Western countries.
Asian and native American is borderline, you'll be an ethnic as a Vietnamese guy in Europe, but not that much as a ethnically Japanese man in São Paulo or an ethnic Chinese in Canada. East Asians have been pretty much "normalized" in many countries, the fact they have light skin and countries like Japan are really developed kinda helps I think.
Native Americans are surely ethnic in Europe but not as much here, I think they are borderline in the US, especially if not pure.
Blacks have already been "normalized" throughout most of the West.
"Hispanic" is a very loose definition, the Iberian countries (That's Portugal and Spain for the geographically challenged) have a lot of racial roots by themselves, Germanics, Iberian natives, Romans, Celts, Moors, all of that shit together forms the population of them. And add to that native American and Black for Hispanics of the New world.
So "Hispanic" is basically a random mix of like 10 different races, which is a very inconsistent variation. Some people from Portugal and Spain are blonde and blue-eyed (probably mainly Visigoth blood), some are pale with dark eyes and hair (my ethnic Portuguese family is all like that, probably Celt/Roman ancestry mainly), some are kinda dark skinned with dark hair and eyes (Moor blood), etc. A Spanish blonde and blue-eyed Visigoth descendant has nothing to do with a Mexican who's like 50% native American, 25% Celt and 25% Iberian native, for instance.

I have quite a bit of Native American in my ancestry, and that is probably why I look ridiculous. I have had many people question my ethnicity despite my skin being pale. Clearly my face looks off from what a white man's should look like.
I agree that most "whites" are really mixed, but they certainly look white. However, full blooded Eastern Europeans, etc. with no British ancestry look Ethnic.
I do not disagree with what you mean by ethnic when you post here nor do I claim that non-white non-ethnics have it as bad as non-white ethnics.
