This is deviating from your discussion with @WorthlessSlavicShit but just thought I'd add it in here, most Americans seem to get very uncomfortable when they are unable to place people into one of those categories. There is some awareness of some geographical regions, for example "eastern european." Most americans basically do not know about the existence of central Asia, it's all just the "middle east" to them. And heavens forbid that large countries such as Russia, China, India, should have varying cultures throughout the country, let alone smaller countries. Despite such phenomena occuring within the United States itself, for example, more mexican culture closer to Mexico, or more Canadian culture closer to Canada.

Anyway, sounds like you guys know all this already, I'm really just venting here. It sucks being racially ambiguous here (but definitely not "white" or "black," or "asian" or "latino").
