Being a “white knight” made sense like 100 years ago when getting a wife and gf was achievable for almost every guy if they put in a reasonable amount of effort.

Back then, you got to have romantic relationships, have sex etc. in return you would protect women to improve your community.

Nowadays you get absolutely nothing from women but they still expect you to protect them. There’s really no point in putting your own life at risk to protect people that hate you or don’t want you around . It’s best to look out for yourself instead
