I won't deny their random bit of war crime here and there, but partisanship in general is just dumb unless it's at the very end of a conflict. It just draws fire onto innocents that now all look like backstabbers, and when partisans do succeed they get no rewards or spoils of war from it, since they aren't soldiers, and soldiers already get very little.
