Why are normies surprised by this? Always assume that an agent is reading what you type. Of course they don't bother doing it, but as soon as you are suspect of something, they can get anything the want from your devices. My dad always told me that, then not long ago he spied on my whole deleted browser's history from the removed hard drive of my old fried PC... Of course the police can do much more.
