I live in the UK but I think this applies to much of the Western world.
I'm wondering how the police treat straight men vs gay men vs men who are trans (non-binary, "female-presenting", etc).
I feel like with gay men they'd mostly just give them special treatment if the attack was deemed homophobic.
Trans men... hm. See, I don't know.
Maybe the closer you are to being female, the better treatment you get?
