What do you like about them? What do you dislike about them? What do you think about the classic (gens 1–5) compared to the modern (gens 6–9) era? I think only the classic era is the good Pokémon, the modern era seems like moving in the wrong direction betraying the spirit (it appeals more to gooners, children and normies than to autists).

And lastly, which Pokémon (or Pokémon alternative perhaps?) game would you recommend the most?

The exploration was always the best part for me.

Classic era mogs hard. The series should have never gone 3D.

The newer games also appeal to women more. Female pokemon fans tend to be far less critical of the switch-era games i've noticed.

The Gen 2 games, both original and remakes.

I agree that gen 2 was the best but gen 4 has a place in my heart since it was the first game I bought, fuck Cynthia tho

The nostalgia and exploration. I hated the one time use tms and the one time mystery gift events.
