No, you're not a loser or a failure. You've persevered this far and haven't let yourself be defeated. You haven't lost your mind and you haven't roped.and I'm a loser, a failure, and my mom rightly sees me as such.
Did you try having charismaI'm 28, with a face so bad I get lots of stares and overhear people commenting "he's so ugly" or "ugliest person I've ever seen", heard it several times , although never said directly to me (total strangers, of every age and gender).
I have a balloon head, no facial bones and very abnormal proportions. I'm skinny but that's it. In high school people made memes with my face.
I could name you about 1000-2000 of instances, and then there are much more I just don't remember (over the last 14 years, every time I go outside, or even am in my garden or room -- "this guy looks so fucking ugly.").
The reason, and only reason, I don't defend myself, maybe a punch, in the legal consequences it would bring. They would, for all intents and purposes, deserve it.
Or the shop keeper/owner who thought I didn't speak the language, telling his wife something about my face. If there would be no consequences, I'd have.... idk, I'll let you finish that thought. Same goes with the other thousands of examples.
This has been going on ever since I was about 13 / 14. I'm also 5'4" but for my daily life my face is the much bigger problem.
I also have several regrets -- for example, that I never working out in the last5 years ago (despite being able to use home gym of parents (this could at least have made me stronger), and I'm a loser, a failure, and my mom rightly sees me as such.
Now, tell me looks don't matter.
