Waging is definitely worse, but for different reasons. In school things were somewhat new and interesting, especially from one year to the next, but you had to have no life if you wanted to do well, because unlike high school, you're given regular assignments that eat into much of your time. With a full time job you're basically doing the same shit 40 hours a week, 365 days a year. If your job isn't mentally stimulating or spiritually fulfilling for you, or if you don't have some long term end goal you're working towards, then you eventually will want to kill yourself, kill your boss and colleagues, or kill your boss and colleagues, followed by killing yourself.
