I like HoI4 because I like WWII. It's just a WWII sandbox/strategy game.

The gameplay is engaging once you get into it, you're essentially just making a series of decisions and tweaking stats to optimise your country's success. It's just a numbers game.

I also like making battle plans and seeing them get executed well, it's rewarding to watch.
