Serious Physical Intimacy vs Mental Connection

I feel lonely not because I cannot experience physical intimacy but because I lack a meaningful mental "connection" with a female with whom I can share my thoughts, experiences and ideas. That is the basic role of a GF/wife.

Is it possible to do all the physical stuff without the "connection"? Sure. But I'd say that the "connection" is more important and is what eliminates the feelings of loneliness. IMO, the physical intimacy is a byproduct of that "connection".
