I used android for the past decade or so because I didn't really have much of a choice. I never quite saw the need to switch over to an iPhone and I thought that all Apple products were just utter trash that were overpriced for no reason (which isn't entirely false). Eventually I got an iPhone when my family switched internet providers or something, I don't really remember how I got gifted it.

The only issue I've consistently had with Android is that all of the phones inevitably start running like garbage after a year or so with it. In my case, it would become so slow to the point that it was incredibly frustrating, but not necessarily enough to say that it was unusable. Even though I have an iPhone now, I don't really use like 95% of the features—but at LEAST it's not dying out on me after a year of having it.
