He desires a Stacy but is deformed and hideous, that is why he wears a mask. He tries to manipulate her in order to get her. He ultimately loses to Chad in the end, but follows his onetites until her death. He is shown as a witty and intelligent person who does not expose himself to the normal world. The play was written in 1910 so even then, they knew that incels existed and this play shows the struggles of an incel in the world. The best part is that normies love this play, this is like inceltears in 1910, where they look into the tragic and difficult life of an incel. Unlike cucktears, the audience actually has sympathy for the phantom because all he wanted was love. Really does show that people were nicer back then.
