The book was very blackpilled. In the books he was treated horribly due to his deformities and height and eventually grew extremely hateful because of it. In the show they removed his deformities and made him into a bluepilled symbol for retards to spam quotes from whenever a short man vents about his height. Yet these same retards will ignore the fact that the actor himself said he was discriminated for it. Or at worse they'll call him an entitled inkwell
