There are women who LOVE anime. Go to a damn convention and you will see them. Look on YouTube and you will see female youtubers who are into anime reviews.
Most of my female friends are into anime and gaming, but on the flip side there are women who hate anime. It's not their thing.

Exactly right in my experience. The only person I know from high school to have held on to metal into adulthood is a Chadlite with a dadbod and a tattoo sleeve who now fronts a Z-list metalcore band from town of ~50,000. Back when I used Facebook, he came across as a huge prima donna fag who would post normie depression memes, followed by posed selfies that would get around 100 likes. I knew a few alternanormies in college who were able to get away with listening to stuff like Deafheaven, The Body, Darkthrone, all your hipster standards, but they still were nothing resembling slayers.

Flaunting a love for the abrasive or violent (Death Metal, Grind, etc.) is only going to work well if you're a Chad with a carefully cultivated aura of polished grit and danger. Soyboy cuxbuxers can get away with liking this stuff, it seems, but it's probably not exactly helpful.



A lot of foids still claim a fondness for the Hot Topicore they grew up with, but at that point you'd might as well just listen to the Chainsmokers or Drake. Yeah, Rap does seem to get a pass. It would be best to normiemax by listening to Young Thug or whatever, but it's still easy to get away with listening to something like The Geto Boys.

Ah, it's definitely not the same guy. The one I'm thinking of is only 23. Still, those types are probably a dime-a-dozen all across the country.
