We can say that in human history reproduction has happen in two major ways,a women and a male setlle down to take care of his offspring(A) and the other way is rape(B),so here come mi teory.
(A)
A male with a significant height,musculature and with inexistent facial deformities is desirable, and that is because in the first steps of humanity males were hunters and later hardworkers,in synthesis:
-height means more posible muscle to build up and more resistant bones,better for hunting,hardworking and defendig your family.
-musculature is and advantage in hunting,harworking and defending your family.
-less facial deformities means that very rarely you would have troubles that make you a bad hunter/family defender(mouth breathing[UNDERBITE] for example isn`t compatible with an activity that consume a lot of oxigen aka hunting/personal defense/hardwork).
sometime chad take more than 1 woman.

so the males that don`t get the requirements for (A) just reproduce through rape or by taking a women that for a weird reason was avalaible to them(killing chad that take more that 1 woman,chad tribe killed by a mamut or some shit,etc).
so this procces of mens that aren`t (A) [A.K.A chad],raping or taking women avalaible in dubious situations is hardwired in the female brain,that is why monogamy has to by implemented by ancient "goverments",other way women don`t pick (B) material.
we always joke on how womens call creeps to ugly guys just because,but in ancient times her fears were true.
