Sometimes when I deal with 70-80 year old women who are incredibly nice I wonder this. What were they like 50-60 years ago? Would they have been SuperStacies and have treated me like dirt? Or were they just from a different era where women were kinder and less judgmental over things like height/race/face?

Probably a bit of both.

40+ is not that old and you can guarantee when they were 20 they would have stomped on you like a cockroach. But the 80 year olds grew up in the 50s. Things were undeniably different then in many ways.
