A problem I see a lot in here is people trying to go from 0 (I don't know this girl) to 1 (dating) in one move (ie - "Do you want to go out with me?"). In real life relations are more fluid than that. Asking a girl out straightforwardly only works for incredibly attractive people. Others need to use their intelligence. Honestly, there are plenty of girls interested in witty men. Knowledge impresses them if served correctly. Internet is the best place for this.
