It is way more common for it to happen in Iraq than it is for it to happen in germany. That's why it's less of a news story. Germans are closer to other western countries ethnically and culturaly and other white western people can identify with it more easily. The same is probably true in the sandbox, they will mourn the people who die in the Iraqi attacks, but not care when some amerimutt goes ER.

Even other shitskins forget about it in a few days. The recent earthquake which hit Afghanistan and killed 2217 people and wounded over 4000 was similarly forgotten in a matter of hours. I am old enough to remember the Japanese tsunami back in 2011. The entire world came together to help Japan. People couldn't stop talking about it. The black-eyed peas made a song in support of Japan and asked people to donate. There were advertisements everywhere, asking people to help Japan, and normies were actually donating money. It was on the new cycle for months.
