Imagine donald trump getting confronted over his border policies which leave many mexican children starving and wrking when their parents were shipped off.
He responds with "life's life", when in reality he doesn't live by those principles. He just wants to project that he does so because it gives him an excuse not to recognize the same strife and pain mexicans are going through. But no one knows in his personal life experience that he didn't live like that, he was born in wealth and whined like a swine when he didn't get his way most likely.
People often outwardly show fake principles that imply their manliness/ determination/ diligence in the time of crisis similar to the people who are getting hurt so they can be absolved from caring about their struggles.
Women do the same where they look at the incel issues and say "I don't rely on others for validation, that's weak shit". Lmao.
People only admit to something embarrassing or something that bodes undignifyingly on them when there's something in it for them.
