I'm familiar with lots of fringe movements and controversial groups. Over the last five years, I've been a member of White Nationalism, National-Socialism, American Conservatism, Christian Identitarianism, European Paganism, Atheism, Men Going Their Own Way, Libertarianism, Minarchism, Anti-Zionism, and, finally, the Blackpill.
Without exception, all of those groups had members who suffered from, what I call, the Ultimate Truth Syndrome. They were unwilling to learn anything that goes beyond their limited worldview. In other words, they transcended a bubble and got stuck in another one.
As a case in point, White Nationalists: brilliantly pointing out the biological differences between the races and dismantling the egalitarian arguments of the social constructionists. But then something funny would happen: many of them freaked out when someone brought up the biological differences between the sexes.
You expect such an open-minded and well-read group of individuals to engage in intellectually honest conversations about the issue, but all they can do is resort to emotional appeals, strawman arguments, and personal attacks. Just like the very normies they tend to criticize do.
Ironically, I had a similar experience with Men Going Their Own Way, the most popular Redpill community. They would relentlessly cite the scientific evidence behind women's lower intelligence, hypergamy, dual mating strategy, neuroticism, and so on. But then, the second race realists argued there is also scientific evidence to support the existence of human races, the whole community chimped out.
This goes to show that people are more or less normies of their own bubbles. They believe there is nothing more to learn besides what has been presented to them. They reached the Ultimate Truth—races are unequal, Jews are destroying Western civilization, women are inferior to men, physical attractiveness impacts all aspects of life, Marxism harms nations, and so forth—and there is nothing else to learn out there. Anything besides their worldview is meaningless because only they know what's right.
With that being said, we are delusional to think we are much different from normies. They have their bubbles; we have ours. You have probably encountered some examples of blackpilled folks who act exactly like the typical normies of society. In fact, they are not much different from normies; they just happen to be part of different bubbles.
What truly separates normies from conscious individuals is how well they can overcome cognitive dissonance. How far they can go without feeling too much pressure by the uncomfortable truths they come across along the way.
So, how much are you willing to learn?
Don't get stuck in a bubble. Even if you feel you know enough.
