Imagine if you were a father whose daughter spent 4 years in college splashing out your money and the best she could do is this:
"One thing that complicates this theory is that incels are almost exclusively men; women do not seem to have the same responses to the perceived injustice of being left single, despite being endlessly exposed to the heteronormative idea that they must “Find The One” or else remain a spinster, an idea that is enforced from rom coms to social circles. Why don’t women have the same response as men to these pressures? “That’s complex,” Kaitlyn responds. “I think it’s all about entitlement to sex – and this is something that has historically been very gendered. If we can assume that a lot of these incels grew up in the pornography age, they have Google in their pockets and can research any sexual act, at any time of the day – it’s no wonder that entitlemtent to sex is heightened. It’s also very rare in pornography that you would have a conversation about whether sex is between two consensual adults.” Donald Trump saying “grab them by the pussy” is an example of this sense of entitlement, she says, but with incels, it’s saying: ‘I deserve sex so much that if you dont give it to me, you deserve to die.’
That's why humanities courses need to be shut down. She didn't even realise it, but she agreed with us when she said this: "...women do not seem to have the same responses to the perceived injustice of being left single, despite being endlessly exposed to the heteronormative idea that they must “Find The One.."
Women are taught that they must find Chad, it's either that or nothing. They don't dream about finding an average ugly; they'll only settle down with an average Joe when all other options of finding Chad have failed. Women who are single have made this choice voluntarily, they are single because they want to. However, Kailyn, women do get frustrated and angry when they can't find the chad they have dreamt of their whole lives. They'll express their anger by lashing out on all men; by saying that " men ain't shit." Some women do resort to violence: we all have read about women who have gone to murder their own babies as a form of vengeance against her boyfriend/husband. Women get extremely frustrated and violent when their expectations have not been met. Do not act, Kailyn, as if violence is something that only men commit.
Do you want to talk about entitlement, Kailyn? tell me, dear, why do women feel entitled to a tall, white, handsome guy? why do even ugly women feel like they deserve a hunk? because that's what you mean by " the one". Men don't have high expectations when it comes to women. Most men are more than happy with an average woman as their partner. However, women have ridiculous expectations when it comes to men and they demand that those expectations be met. I guess that's what you call gender-oriented entitlement.
