yeah, hence why I said not necessarily. there are a lot of reasons why a man aged 18-22 might be a virgin which don't necessarily make him an incel (as in, involuntarily consigned to indefinite celibacy due to genetics or other factors that are outside his control). after 23 it's more ehh. I think the age group on this survey is too broad
I'd say this is true for hooking up but not necessarily dating, especially for younger guys in high school or college. it's very uncommon for guys to meet their long term girlfriends on Tinder and shit. I think most normie males got girlfriends by being in social proximity to them through class, work, etc. and having a passable appearance + some distinguishing features (playing sports, being popular socially, being tall, things of that nature)
I believe now most (adult) couples have met online. And that was a few years ago.
Different for high school but with that new app for teenagers maybe not so much anymore. I think it is the case in College though. Again would have to look at the median/mean here but I think the age was 24-25 or so not that high.
Obviously it's not all Tinder. There are tons that is classed as online dating. Even just meeting someone on reddit or in WoW or something would be classed as that.
Also it is possible to have success on Tinder as a normie at least above 5. Some story I read the other day had a guy getting 63 matches over 3 years (over 4,500 left swipes) and 2 became GFs.
Not a very high match rate and I wouldn't think of him to be super attractive based on that. He called himself a 6 though.
At the end of the day though there are more virgins earlier in life so even if it was the case that the ratios were more skewed to real-life earlier not that many men are the beneficiary. What is the virginity rate when graduating high school? 50% or more nowadays? What's it in early college? 30% or so?
Then after that all that's left over are largely playing in the online game. Do you see what I'm saying?
Plus it doesn't take much efficiency to leave many men behind. Even if 20% meet or so online. That has a big effect on those who would be completely unable to succeed there.
I honestly haven't noticed it past high school. I've heard lots of people that have met online. Obviously in high school a lot occurs within the school. Past that mark I don't know I've seen plenty that have met online.
Plus that survey is past 18 so doesn't include high school anyways.
