Liberals often talk of dismantling systematic disadvantages caused by the social constructs of racism or heteronormativity, and perhaps they can, but lookism is totally ignored and can never truly be eradicated. It will remain prevalent throughout every society because the human psyche is biologically wired to discriminate based on attractiveness. The simple truth is that if I make a statement, more people will disagree with me than if Chad said it.

I'd love to see a study that uses two ultrarealistic CGI models to give a speech. One model would be ugly, the other hot, and they'd both give the same opinion with the same voice, gestures, outfit, and background. One group of viewers would be asked to rate the agreeableness of one model and another group asked the same for the other model. Undoubtedly, the hot model would win.
