He was in both. Mainly special needs classes but he had one or two regular periods every day.
I think he knew he was being insulted, he just didn't understand the context of the insults or what words like "faggot" meant. He could talk and sort of hold conversations, he just basically had the mind of a five year old at sixteen. Actually, there were some other kids who lower tier normies who also bullied him and literally used the same lines and insults chad used, they were given detention and had to write apology letters. Chad just never gets in trouble for bullying.
