But tbh, it’s wild to see ai is causing this much impact on people’s lives. I think the main reason is that big corporations are investing hard on it.

i live close enough to a factory and its not as bad, in fact i don't hear nothing at all. only smoke. the worst i experienced was when back in the day we had a wood milling facility running 12 hours shifts every day. the noise pollution was really bad. Funny thing the owner was a child molester aka a PEDOPHILE and got ran out of town had to close down shop and 15 years after got arrested during a random traffic stop three states away. he got his comeuppance for noise polluting and else.

i got lucky i bought a bunch of ram that i found out after the time where you can return them for a refund. my motherboard was ddr3 i didn't know the DDR was important i thought the bigger the number the better. turns out it wasn't i still didn't sell them might consider if things gets bad enough. it 5x the price last time i checked
