Actually 1060 is sufficient (according to the minimum requirements at least). But yeah, it requires 12 GB of RAM and a decent processor too.

Depends on the country but I get your point. On the other hand, this might be the only opportunity to experience Elden Ring for many people.

If I had a deathly desire to play ER, I could absolutely scrape the means to do that. It's not that. It's just that I am annoyed that I'm missing out on it but I don't think I should invest any significant money into it.
