I was in a rather melancholic mood today, and reflecting on how the years seem to have passed so quickly. One after another, they are but a blur of jumbled, discarded memories.

Once upon a time, I was a young, innocent child.

Now I'm just sad and old.

...except that a lot of us didn't even have a childhood/life worth appreciating; PT's message to appreciate the present moment applies only to normies.

And yeah, my memories of my past are very disjointed and vague too. I've LDARed to some extent throughout my whole life and one of the things that cause a lack of memories is exactly LDARing. It also causes time to seem to tick away much faster. If there's at least a little enjoyment that can be experienced in life, then it makes sense not to LDAR for sure.
