From my experience in school I can say that so far no child with divorced parents I met was emotionally healthy in the slightest.
A child in that situation is not a child, but rather an instrument to cause the former partner pain (via winning its favor with material gifts), often while neglect happens.
The actual emotions of the child don't matter and mostly everything is focussed around the drama between the two parents.

My divorced parents use us as weapons against each other. It’s really annoying and my little siblings suffer a lot because of this, but they don’t care.
